Welcome to the first edition of our new series, Crumbling Crust Mysteries, where we will unravel and demystify the tips, tricks, and recipes of baking. This week we will be revealing how to make the perfect whipped cream. From start to finish you can make the perfect, tailored to your taste, whipped cream right at home for less than what it costs to buy at the store! Plus, I will show you how to take that whipped cream and make delicious fillings.
- 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tablespoons sugar or confectioners sugar
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
Tip: Freeze bowl and attachments for 15 minutes to speed up the process.
Mix cream on high until it starts to thicken. Slowly add sugar and vanilla. When incorporated, switch to high again until it forms stiff peaks.
